Midland is a continent on the planet ___, situated roughly at the equator. It is bordered to the south by Tierra del Sur, a continent approximately half the size of Midland. The primary language of Midland is Midlish. Midland is the largest continent by land mass, regardless of whether inland water acreage is included. This is due to its massive network of rivers and several large freshwater lakes.

Name

The continent got its name from Ferris, who saw his Walkie-Talkie when trying to create a name for an IRC channel on IRChon Network. He thought it sounded cool. The Midlish country of Midspin would later get its name from Razi, of the same IRC network.

Newing Land is a semicircular region centered in the north of the continent. Its northern border is the coastline made up mostly of sandy beaches with several rocky cliff faces.
