Midlish is the main human language of Midland, a continent on this planet. It is the most widely spoken language, even among those species who have their own native tongues.

As such, many sayings and idioms are straight-up copied from other languages. For instance, ¡Chao Pescao! ("good bye fish"), is Chilean in origin. (Chile is a fictional country on the fictional planet of Earth).
